Meeting of all European Geoparks in Hateg/Romania

From March 27th to 31st, the spring meeting of the European UNESCO Global Geoparks took place in Hateg. The meeting was hosted by the Hateg County UGGp, which presented the geological characteristics of the region with a comprehensive programme, including the topics of education for sustainable development and cooperations at a university level in order to promote and integrate the Geopark idea.

Unfortunately, many delegates could not attend due to the strike of public transport in Germany, which also affected flights. Therefore, even the Geopark Schwäbische Alb was not able to participate in person.
