A thoroughly successful Geopark Festival at the Beuren Open-Air Museum
This year's Geopark Festival took place on Sunday in wonderful weather. Watching how hydrated lime is created, getting a "tattoo", climbing a rope like the cave explorers, discovering plants and rocks of the Alb or simply tasting the delicacies at the bakehouse and enjoying the wonderful surroundings... the varied and interesting offers at the stands made the visit a very special experience.
Many thanks once again to the team from the Beuren Open-Air Museum for the perfect organisation and to all those involved in the Geopark network who made this day possible.
Here are a few impressions.
