Freibühlschule Engstingen

At the Freibühlschule, the topic of sustainability accompanies the students from the first grade onwards and continues all the way to graduation. The location of the primary and secondary school on the northern edge of the Swabian Alb offers the ideal environment to experience not only the earth's history, but also the rich cultural and natural landscape.

These topics are not only taught theoretically as part of the curriculum, they are also communicated in a haptic and practical way, especially through extracurricular events. Through projects such as landscape conservation, the maintenance of the school garden or excursions to other localities, the students learn to take responsibility for the landscape and nature.
